About the role

Join Hiroki, an intimate omakase‑driven Japanese restaurant in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood, as a Dishwasher. You will work evenings from Wednesday to Saturday, supporting the kitchen’s high‑volume service while maintaining impeccable cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.
• Sort, rinse, and load dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment following established procedures.
• Monitor and replenish dishwashing supplies such as detergents and rinse agents.
• Sanitize and store cleaned items in designated areas.
• Keep the dishwashing and storage areas tidy, including regular cleaning of sinks and work surfaces.
• Follow health and safety regulations, handling chemicals safely and maintaining a hazard‑free environment.
• Assist the kitchen team with receiving deliveries, restocking supplies, and general kitchen cleanliness.

Required profile

• Availability for PM shifts Wednesday through Saturday nights.
• Strong, upbeat, and positive personality.
• Commitment to high standards and attention to detail.
• Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Team‑oriented, dependable, and family‑mindset.
• Physical ability to stand, walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
