Director, Strategic Finance – Checking & Savings and Credit Card

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to lead the strategic finance function for our rapidly expanding Checking & Savings and Credit Card businesses. In this senior role you will shape capital allocation, drive growth strategy, and provide actionable financial insights across the unit.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial strategy, multi‑year plan, annual operating plan and rolling forecasts for Checking & Savings and Credit Card lines.
• Partner with business leaders to translate financial and operational data into strategic recommendations.
• Build and analyze unit economics, including LTV, CAC, payback periods and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Conduct disciplined capital‑allocation analyses, business cases and post‑investment performance measurement.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, Treasury, Accounting and Data teams on new initiatives, pricing, rewards and partnership evaluations.
• Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analyses for interest‑rate changes, member behavior, credit performance and competitive dynamics.
• Identify and scale high‑impact AI use cases to enhance analytical rigor and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance business partnering within fast‑growing financial services or technology‑focused companies.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to executive leadership.
