Director, Product Management

About the role

PayPal is seeking a Director of Product Management to shape the vision and strategy for one or more of its core products or platform solutions. In this senior role you will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative, customer‑focused experiences while ensuring regulatory compliance and business profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a shared product vision and strategy across the organization.
• Lead product strategy development in partnership with engineering, design, legal, compliance and go‑to‑market teams.
• Balance innovative design with technical implementation, meeting regulatory requirements and customer needs.
• Use metrics and data‑driven insights to measure product success and guide decisions.
• Standardise analytics and market research processes to support data‑driven product decisions.
• Ensure product profitability and lead regular operational reviews.
• Collaborate with global partners to maximise efficiency and scale in a dynamic environment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in product management, preferably at a senior or director level.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive product vision.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using metrics to guide product outcomes.
• Deep understanding of regulatory considerations in financial services.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
