Director of Workplace and Hospitality Design & Construction

About the role

ALO is seeking a senior design and construction leader to shape the built environment for its corporate offices, hospitality venues, and wellness ventures worldwide. The role blends creative vision with operational execution, guiding projects from concept through construction completion while embodying the brand’s identity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development and management of 4‑8 global projects per year, defining architectural and interior design language.
• Conduct due‑diligence, feasibility studies, and oversee all phases of construction, from pre‑construction to occupancy.
• Build and manage relationships with external architects, interior designers, contractors, and vendors.
• Translate wellness programming and brand initiatives into physical environments, staying current on wellness design trends.
• Develop annual capital expenditure plans, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and present updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of experience in architecture and/or construction management.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong understanding of brand‑driven design standards and evidence‑based wellness design.
