Director of Turnover – Data Centers

About the role

The Director of Turnover will lead turnover operations for large‑scale data center projects, ensuring that all systems are verified, documented, and handed over to commissioning teams in line with enterprise standards. This senior position reports to senior construction leadership and works closely with subcontractors, quality teams, and client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee turnover activities across multiple construction sites, directing walk‑down inspections and field verification of installed systems.
• Coordinate with construction leadership, subcontractors, and CQV teams to ensure compliance with testing, documentation, and pre‑commissioning requirements.
• Manage the assembly of turnover packages, including punch‑list management, system testing protocols, and digital platform adoption.
• Develop and implement strategic frameworks for final hand‑over of facilities, systems, and equipment according to master program schedules.
• Collaborate with project controls and construction leadership to align turnover milestones with overall project timelines.

Required profile

• Proven executive leadership experience in fast‑paced, multi‑site construction environments.
• Strong background in coordinating complex, multi‑discipline systems turnover for data center or similar facilities.
• Ability to engage senior leadership and drive adherence to enterprise‑level standards and best practices.
