Director of Training & Development

About the role

The Training & Development Director is a senior leader responsible for shaping the organization’s learning strategy. You will design, deliver, and evaluate programs that drive performance, foster continuous improvement, and support business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for training that aligns with corporate objectives.
• Assess current and future learning needs in partnership with HR and department heads.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate workshops, e‑learning modules, and other training solutions for all employee levels.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of curricula, educational materials, and assessment tools.
• Manage training budget, vendor relationships, and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing training team.
• Measure impact of initiatives using KPIs, feedback, and ROI analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements and promote DEI in all learning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Business or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in training, talent development or organizational learning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and drive results in fast‑paced environments.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Proficiency in e‑learning platforms and training technologies.
