About the role
The Director of Title III Programs provides strategic leadership for the Lions Success Teams initiative, a federally funded Title III Strengthening Institutions Program aimed at improving student retention, persistence, and graduation outcomes. Reporting to the Senior Vice Provost, the role oversees all aspects of grant implementation, assessment, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for the Title III program in alignment with university goals.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations, including budgeting, staffing, and compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
- Lead assessment and reporting activities to demonstrate program impact and fulfill grant requirements.
- Collaborate with academic and student support units to integrate the Lions Success Teams approach across campus.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, financial statements, and renewal proposals to funding agencies.
- Supervise and mentor program staff, fostering a culture of data‑driven decision making.
Required profile
- Advanced degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) preferred.
- Significant experience in higher‑education administration, preferably managing federally funded programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Title III regulations and grant management best practices.
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of improving student success outcomes.
