Director of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement

About the role

The Director of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement will define and lead enterprise‑wide sourcing strategies that enhance supply‑chain resiliency, support sustainable growth, and enable vertical integration. Reporting to senior leadership, this role balances cost, quality, innovation and efficiency while upholding public‑benefit commitments and organic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and scale the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Operations teams, building maturity in negotiation, supplier management, cost modeling and risk management.
• Clarify roles, responsibilities and decision rights across functions; establish KPIs and accountability mechanisms.
• Partner with QA, Trade, Operations, Innovation and Sustainability leaders to align sourcing priorities with growth, margin and risk objectives.
• Own the sourcing performance agenda, delivering cost savings, inflation mitigation, working‑capital improvement and supplier‑enabled innovation.
• Collaborate with FP&A on margin forecasting, commodity outlooks, EBITDA optimization and working‑capital targets.
• Develop and execute category and multi‑year strategies that meet growth, margin, sustainability and supply‑continuity goals.

Required profile

• Seasoned sourcing and procurement professional with a track record of building and owning sourcing strategies.
• Experience in change management, mentoring teams and thriving in high‑growth environments.
• Strong ability to drive alignment across senior leadership and to communicate supply‑risk insights.
• Goal‑oriented, curious and passionate about leveraging the supply chain for positive impact.
