Director of Retail Operations & Expansion

About the role

UNICE, a global leader in 100% human hair wigs, is looking for a bilingual (English/Chinese) Director of Retail Operations & Expansion to lead and grow its U.S. retail footprint. You will manage multiple store locations, drive sales performance, and spearhead new store openings while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for multiple U.S. retail stores, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth plans.
• Oversee store expansion, including site selection, evaluation, and launch coordination.
• Monitor store performance metrics and implement improvement action plans.
• Ensure operational compliance, inventory accuracy, and effective merchandising.
• Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and staff to achieve high performance.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of retail operations management experience, with at least 2 years managing multi‑location or chain stores.
• Proven track record in new store openings and expansion.
• Strong leadership ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Fluent in English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
• U.S. work authorization (Green Card, citizenship, or valid work visa).
