Director of Program Management Office (PMO)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced leader to establish and scale the Project Management Office for a fast‑growing, PE‑backed cybersecurity firm. Reporting to the COO, you will shape the operational foundation that supports rapid expansion of professional services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the PMO function from the ground up.
• Drive project and program management across client engagements.
• Manage resource planning, subcontractor utilization, and capacity forecasting.
• Partner with sales and technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Develop scalable delivery processes and operational best practices.
• Improve project visibility, forecasting accuracy, and execution efficiency.
• Support the continued growth of the professional services organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading or building a PMO.
• Strong background in project/program management.
• Experience with resource management and professional‑services delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to create operational processes in high‑growth environments.
• Executive presence with excellent client‑facing communication skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and/or NetSuite is a plus.
