Director of On-Campus Recruiting

About the role

The Director of On-Campus Recruiting will lead the coordination of all recruiting activities for prospective student‑athletes within the Fresno State Athletics Department. Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Football and the Director of Scouting, this full‑time position ensures compliance with NCAA policies while supporting the department’s mission and goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute on‑campus recruiting events and visits for football prospects.
• Maintain up‑to‑date recruiting databases and ensure accurate documentation of all contacts.
• Stay current with industry best practices and NCAA regulations.
• Collaborate with coaching staff, academic services, and compliance officers to provide a seamless recruiting experience.
• Prepare and deliver recruiting materials, presentations, and communications to prospects and their families.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year institution.
• Minimum two years of football recruiting experience at the collegiate or NFL level.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a solid grasp of English grammar and punctuation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
