Director of Manufacturing Quality Assurance

About the role

Blue Origin is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Quality Assurance to lead its quality team at the Kent, Washington facility. This senior position will shape the vision for quality, drive continuous improvement, and partner with cross‑functional leaders across all Blue Origin sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Quality Assurance staff at the Kent, WA site.
• Establish and communicate a clear quality vision aligned with Blue Origin’s mission.
• Implement innovative Quality Management System (QMS) solutions to support accelerated manufacturing and research activities.
• Partner with operations, program, and supply‑chain teams to ensure product integrity and safety.
• Drive a culture of accountability, structure, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Oversee monitoring and assessment of processes that guide design, manufacture, and launch activities.
