Director of Maintenance – Global 7500 Aircraft

About the role

Clay Lacy Aviation seeks a seasoned Director of Maintenance to lead all maintenance activities for a Global 7500 aircraft operating from Seattle (KBFI) and Hillsboro (KHIO). This senior position combines technical oversight, program management, and close collaboration with aircraft crews and owners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance workflow, including light and moderate inspections before and after each flight.
• Plan and coordinate moderate to heavy maintenance intervals to maximize aircraft dispatchability while respecting owner schedules.
• Maintain compliance with FAR Part 91 and Part 135 regulations, manufacturer requirements, and company policies.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and support services to ensure timely parts and services.
• Serve as the primary safety expert and represent Clay Lacy in aviation forums, FAA interactions, and community organizations.
• Foster a collaborative environment where crew feedback is captured and acted upon.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in aircraft maintenance management, preferably with large business jets.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations (Part 91, Part 135) and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate complex projects, and communicate effectively with owners and crew.
• Commitment to high‑level customer service and safety culture.
