Director of Implementation

About the role

Payabli is seeking a Director of Implementation to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of its payments infrastructure for vertical software partners. This senior position sits within the Operations team and works closely with Sales, Solution Engineering, Onboarding, and Partner Success to ensure seamless integration and ongoing merchant success.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Implementation team (Solutions Engineering and Merchant Onboarding) across dozens of concurrent projects and thousands of merchants each month.
• Design, document, and continuously improve implementation processes, metrics, and documentation.
• Lead internal and external calls to define integration plans and manage timelines for software partners.
• Build AI‑driven tools and agents to automate and scale implementation workflows.
• Track project logs, KPIs, and post‑implementation performance, driving continuous improvement.
• Act as a player‑coach, stepping in to support technical tasks and customer interactions as needed.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing cross‑functional implementation or delivery teams.
• Self‑starter with a high sense of urgency and execution focus.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into process enhancements.
