Director of Engineering & EPC Management – Natural Gas Combined Cycle

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director to lead engineering design, equipment procurement, and EPC management for our natural‑gas combined‑cycle power projects. The role spans the full development lifecycle, from technology evaluation to construction and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering planning, design, and procurement activities for development and construction projects.
• Evaluate generation technologies and develop optimal plant configurations.
• Oversee electrical, structural, mechanical, and civil engineering design.
• Lead equipment evaluation, selection, validation, and technical due diligence.
• Negotiate EPC agreements, Owner’s Engineering services, and major equipment supply contracts.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and controls to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Coordinate technical deliverables across internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
• Identify and mitigate engineering, procurement, and construction risks while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in engineering and EPC management for thermal power generation.
• Extensive knowledge of gas turbine OEM technology and natural‑gas combined‑cycle plant design.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi‑disciplinary engineering teams and collaborate with external partners.
