Director of Engineering & EPC Management (Natural Gas Combined Cycle)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Director to lead engineering design, equipment procurement, and EPC management for our thermal generation portfolio. The role will focus on natural gas combined‑cycle plants, guiding projects from technology evaluation through construction and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering planning, design, and procurement for development and construction projects.
• Evaluate generation technologies, develop plant configurations, and produce cost estimates and schedules.
• Oversee electrical, structural, mechanical, and civil engineering design activities.
• Negotiate EPC agreements, Owner’s Engineering services, and major equipment supply contracts.
• Coordinate technical deliverables across internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and EPC contractors.
• Establish project controls, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with gas turbine OEM technology and natural gas combined‑cycle plant design.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale EPC contracts and multi‑disciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of thermal power plant development, risk assessment, and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent cross‑functional leadership collaborating with finance, legal, operations, and environmental teams.
