About the role
Renewable Properties is seeking a seasoned Director of Energy Storage Development to lead its energy storage business. The role involves shaping market strategy, evaluating technologies, and guiding project development across the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and shape target energy storage markets for Renewable Properties.
- Research vendors and determine optimal storage products, configurations, use cases, and value propositions.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize success of storage projects.
- Engage potential buyers and assist in proposal creation for storage solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and manage contractual aspects of storage projects.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure organized and flawless project execution.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience delivering energy storage projects in diverse U.S. markets.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on time‑sensitive issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of environmental and utility regulatory environments.
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ownership of deliverables.
- Proven success navigating ambiguity in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial settings.
- Collaborative team player with cross‑functional experience.
