Director of Data Analytics and Operational Initiatives

About the role

The Director of Data Analytics and Operational Initiatives will lead the development of data‑driven decision tools and streamline core administrative processes across the College. Reporting to senior leadership, this role combines strategic analytics with operational excellence to support the College’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and executive reporting frameworks for College leadership (25%).
• Design and implement standardized, centralized workflows for inventory, procurement, HR, budgeting, and finance (20%).
• Partner with the Dean’s Office and unit leaders to assess current processes, identify gaps, and prioritize improvements (10%).
• Act as primary liaison to the development team, translating operational needs into functional and technical specifications (10%).
• Manage the full lifecycle of operational improvement projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery (10%).
• Maintain and iteratively improve existing workflows and systems based on user feedback (10%).
• Lead change‑management activities, creating training materials and delivering sessions to ensure adoption (10%).
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, performance metrics, and recommendations to senior stakeholders (5%).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience leading process‑improvement initiatives and managing projects.
• Experience collaborating with technical/development teams to implement data or workflow systems.
