Director of Culture

About the role

The Director of Culture will shape and amplify Bath & Body Works’ culture, supporting the Consumer First Formula and Winning Teams strategy. Reporting to the Vice President, Community & Culture, this senior leader partners across the Home Office, Distribution Centers and Stores to design and deliver programs that foster an inclusive, high‑performing workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Act as strategic advisor on culture, inclusion and belonging, guiding HR leaders and business executives.
• Develop and execute an integrated culture and belonging strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Set enterprise KPIs for Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and monitor cultural health using associate data.
• Design annual programming road‑maps linking BRG activations, heritage months and cultural moments to measurable associate outcomes.
• Oversee BRG governance, executive sponsorship and ensure reach across all associate populations, including frontline staff.
• Lead internal communications content for town halls, national sales meetings and other forums.
• Manage external partnerships with community organizations and drive a BRG‑connected giving strategy.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR or culture leadership experience in a large, consumer‑focused organization.
• Deep knowledge of inclusion, belonging and employee engagement best practices.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate trends into actionable programs.
• Excellent influencing and partnership skills across multiple business functions.
• Data‑driven mindset to assess cultural health and impact on retention and performance.
