Director of Corporate Facilities Management

About the role

Albertsons Companies is seeking a senior leader to oversee the operation and strategic direction of its corporate campus portfolio. The Director will manage four campuses (approximately 15‑17 buildings) across the United States, ensuring safe, efficient facilities and an exceptional associate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Office Services & Facilities function, including corporate mail, print services, fleet management, and cafeteria operations.
• Oversee an annual operating expense budget of roughly $20 million and a capital investment portfolio of $5‑10 million, with total budget responsibility up to $30 million.
• Direct workplace planning, space utilization, occupancy management, and campus optimization initiatives.
• Serve as budget owner and executive sponsor for all corporate facilities capital projects from programming through completion.
• Manage owned and leased facilities, ensuring compliance, consistent standards, and high‑quality service delivery.
• Develop and execute vendor strategies, including RFQs and sourcing, to secure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Provide strategic leadership, performance management, coaching, and talent development for a team of 40‑50 associates, including 7‑10 direct reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale facilities or real‑estate operations in a corporate environment.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi‑million‑dollar OpEx and CapEx budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
