Director of Compliance & GRC

About the role

Worth AI is seeking a Director of Compliance to shape and expand its governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) program as the company scales. The role serves as the internal expert on regulatory compliance, AI governance, risk management, and audit readiness, working closely with product, engineering, security, legal, and customer teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain compliance programs across AML/BSA, KYB/KYC, OFAC sanctions, FCRA, privacy, and other financial services regulations.
• Lead the GRC function, including risk assessments, policy governance, control management, audit readiness, and documentation.
• Manage external audits and certifications such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, and emerging AI governance frameworks.
• Advise product and engineering teams to embed regulatory and governance requirements into platform features.
• Develop and maintain an AI governance framework covering model oversight, data handling, automated decisioning, and regulatory updates.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable guidance for operations and product.
• Serve as primary contact for enterprise customers, auditors, and partners on compliance and governance matters.
• Oversee third‑party risk management, including vendor due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and incident response.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in compliance, risk, or audit roles within fintech or regulated financial services.
• Proven ability to design and scale GRC programs in fast‑moving environments.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, auditors, and cross‑functional teams.
• Deep knowledge of AML, KYC, privacy regulations, and emerging AI governance requirements.
