About the role

LexisNexis Risk Solutions seeks a Director of Cloud Operations & Reliability to lead enterprise‑wide AI‑driven operational excellence for large‑scale, cloud‑native platforms. The role ensures high availability, reliability, and performance of mission‑critical applications while partnering with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Client Engagement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 24x7 global cloud operations for mission‑critical platforms, meeting service level objectives.
• Drive incident response, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions during major events.
• Implement AI‑driven self‑healing capabilities and continuous improvement programs.
• Establish enterprise observability standards, playbooks, and monitoring practices.
• Develop and track operational metrics such as availability, MTTR, and incident recurrence.
• Build strong cross‑functional partnerships across engineering, product, security, and infrastructure.
• Mentor and develop high‑performing operations leaders and technical teams.

Required profile

• 9+ years of technology operations experience, including 5+ years managing senior technical staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Deep expertise with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Proven experience supporting large‑scale, highly available, mission‑critical platforms.
• Strong background in Service Reliability Engineering, incident management, and cloud infrastructure.
