Director of Clinical Operations (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

About the role

Curana Health is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead clinical teams across assigned geographies. This senior leadership role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management to ensure high‑quality, value‑based care for seniors in senior‑living communities and skilled nursing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for clinical practice compliance, quality functions, and patient experience.
• Manage and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and guidelines.
• Recruit, hire, orient, mentor, and evaluate clinical staff to meet organizational and patient needs.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior‑living facilities to optimize care coordination.
• Participate in company‑wide initiatives, including value‑based care models and quality improvement programs.
• Contribute expertise to committees and task forces focused on clinical operations, quality improvement, and patient safety.

Required profile

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with extensive clinical experience.
• Proven leadership experience in managing clinical teams and APPs.
• Strong understanding of value‑based care models and quality metrics.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior‑living partners.
