Director of Business Development

About the role

Riveron is seeking a senior leader to expand its presence in the Chicago market by creating new client relationships and driving revenue growth across corporate, private and strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy for Chicago in partnership with market and practice leaders.
• Leverage local network to generate high‑value introductions, build relationships with auditors, technology partners, private equity contacts and other influencers.
• Partner with Managing Directors and Client Service Directors to bring the right expertise into client conversations and move opportunities forward.
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity in Salesforce and lead pipeline discussions with firm leadership.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in business development, client relationship management or professional services sales.
• Strong, relevant network in the Chicagoland market, including corporate executives, private‑equity professionals, board members and other centers of influence.
• Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and generating new revenue.
• Excellent executive presence, communication skills and disciplined follow‑through.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline tracking.
• Knowledge of finance transformation, transaction advisory or restructuring services.
