Director of Account Management

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Account Management to lead a regional portfolio of commercial card, debit, and small‑business initiatives. The role combines strategic account planning with hands‑on sales execution to grow market share, volume, and revenue across Mastercard’s Commercial Solutions, Services, and Security offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver against aggressive sales and net‑revenue targets for existing and new Mastercard products and services.
• Deepen customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and long‑term partnership.
• Identify client needs and oversee the delivery of integrated payment solutions.
• Support strategies that create profit, revenue growth, and value for both Mastercard and its customers.
• Collaborate with clients on annual business planning and quarterly reviews, tracking progress against joint objectives.
• Secure strategic engagement with decision‑makers and key influencers at multiple levels.
• Manage specific account revenue and P&L results.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commercial card product or relationship management within a bank or payments provider.
• Strong knowledge of payments ecosystems.
• Proven track record of consultative sales in financial services or payments.
• Demonstrated client relationship skills and ability to drive results.
• Driven, enthusiastic, and collaborative team player.
