Director, Neurology Thought Leader Liaison

About the role

The Director, Neurology Thought Leader Liaison will lead a national team of six TLL professionals, shaping engagement strategies with key opinion leaders in rare neurological diseases and translating insights into brand and launch plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, hire, develop, and retain a high‑performing national team of Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) professionals.
• Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive KOL engagement plans, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment across neurology.
• Synthesize field‑generated insights to influence brand strategy, messaging, and evidence generation, presenting recommendations to commercial leadership.
• Direct advisory board and speaker bureau strategies, and drive congress and launch excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare, with at least 5 years in Thought Leader Liaison, product marketing, specialty sales, medical affairs, or commercial field leadership.
• Proven people‑leadership experience managing field‑based commercial or medical teams.
• Experience in rare disease, specialty pharmaceuticals, or neurology.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD, MSN, MS) preferred.
