Director - Leadership Development

About the role

The Director of Leadership Development will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of advanced leadership programs that build a diverse pipeline of future leaders and strengthen executive capability for a major retail organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute high‑potential and executive development curricula, coaching practices, and strategic leadership programs.
• Partner with HR business partners, talent management, senior business leaders, and executives to align development initiatives with business priorities and corporate culture.
• Leverage technology, automation, and data‑driven insights to measure program success, demonstrate ROI, and ensure confidentiality of talent data.
• Oversee executive development for VP, SVP, and senior leaders, including external coaching partnerships.
• Lead talent programs such as the annual Women’s Leadership Summit in collaboration with diversity, culture, and corporate events teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading leadership development or talent management initiatives at a large organization.
• Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders, HR partners, and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset to use workforce data for informed decision‑making.
• Demonstrated commitment to building inclusive leadership pipelines.
