About the role

The Director of the Kids First Clinic leads a multidisciplinary team delivering pediatric medical services within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This senior clinical position oversees patient care, program development, and operational excellence to improve health outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day‑to‑day management of the Kids First Clinic.
• Ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based pediatric care and compliance with clinical standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to optimize service delivery.
• Develop and monitor clinic budgets, staffing plans, and performance metrics.
• Represent the clinic in university committees, community outreach, and research initiatives.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a health‑related field (MD, DO, or equivalent) with relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a pediatric or specialty clinic setting.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation, and quality improvement processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
