Director, HR Strategy & Operations

About the role

The Director, HR Strategy & Operations partners with the Chief Human Resources Officer to shape and execute enterprise‑wide HR initiatives, ensuring they align with business priorities and enable effective decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CHRO and HR Leadership Team to drive HR strategy and maintain alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare briefing materials, talking points, presentations, and updates for Executive Leadership Team meetings, board discussions, town halls, and related workstreams.
• Provide thought leadership on AI, automation, and technology opportunities within the HR function.
• Conduct research, analysis, and recommendations on HR trends, metrics, and issues influencing strategy.
• Track progress against HR priorities, ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and help remove obstacles.
• Represent the CHRO’s viewpoint in selected forums and ensure clear communication back to the HR Leadership Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, HR, Organizational Development, or related field) preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in a similar or related HR role.
• Strong balance of strategic thinking and process orientation.
• Ability to connect functional strategies and initiatives to broader organizational goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• High degree of discretion and judgment handling confidential HR matters.
• Proven capability to manage concurrent priorities in a global environment.
