About the role

The Director of Drug Product Data & Industry Standards leads the strategic direction of drug product data content, ensuring the organization stays ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs. This senior position combines deep pharmacy expertise with a forward‑looking view of the transactional drug information landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a proactive strategy for drug product data that supports business growth.
• Interpret pharmacy law and regulatory changes, assessing their impact on data structure and customer workflows.
• Represent the company at NCPDP and other industry forums, influencing standards development.
• Build and sustain relationships with manufacturers, wholesalers, partners, and key customers to enhance data access.
• Lead cross‑functional teams (Product, Technology, Clinical, Sales) to ensure data decisions are well‑informed and consistently executed.
• Identify new data elements, expansion opportunities, and emerging market needs.
• Prioritize content expansion (OTC, compounded drugs, supplements, specialty data) based on demand and feasibility.

Required profile

• Senior subject‑matter expert with extensive pharmacy knowledge.
• Proven ability to set strategic direction for complex data products.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy law, NCPDP standards, and data interoperability.
• Excellent influence across internal teams, industry bodies, and external partners.
