Director, Corporate Security

About the role

Komodo Health is seeking a Director of Corporate Security to evaluate the current security posture and lead strategic improvements across the organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will protect employee systems, identities, devices, networks, and business applications while collaborating with IT, Product Security, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a rigorous current‑state assessment of corporate security and deliver a sequenced improvement plan approved by the CFO and CISO.
• Establish and strengthen core capabilities such as device trust, identity and access governance, off‑boarding discipline, internal access controls, SaaS security posture, and external‑sharing safeguards.
• Build a scalable security program framework with clear policies, documented controls, repeatable processes, and measurable metrics for board and auditor reporting.
• Enhance day‑to‑day security operations by tightening SIEM monitoring, reducing mean‑time‑to‑detect/mean‑time‑to‑respond (MTTD/MTTR), and instituting post‑mortem discipline.
• Develop practical AI‑governance guardrails for internal enterprise tools, including SSO and RBAC implementations.

Required profile

• Proven senior leader with extensive experience in corporate security program design and execution.
• Ability to work at executive level while diving into technical details when needed.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with IT, engineering, compliance, and legal teams.
