Director, Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

PwC is seeking a Director to lead its Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services within the Deals practice. You will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, and transaction structures for complex mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. The role combines client advisory, business development, and mentorship of emerging leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic advisory services for capital‑markets transactions, including M&A and restructuring.
• Advise clients on complex accounting and financial reporting issues related to deals and transformational events.
• Develop and implement innovative technical accounting solutions.
• Navigate regulatory guidelines and optimize transaction structures for clients.
• Identify market opportunities, drive business growth, and manage client engagements.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and future leaders.
• Maintain executive‑level client relationships and uphold PwC’s reputation for quality and integrity.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active CPA license (or equivalent qualification).
• Strong background in accounting, finance, or economics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Alteryx for financial‑modeling automation.
