Director, Capital Formation

About the role

Prime Finance is seeking a seasoned institutional fundraising professional to lead its Capital Formation efforts. The Director will be responsible for expanding and deepening relationships with institutional investors across private credit, fixed‑income, and structured credit strategies, with a focus on commercial real‑estate financing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies targeting institutional investors, family offices, insurance firms, and other capital sources.
• Own the end‑to‑end fundraising pipeline: source opportunities, advance prospects through diligence, coordinate internal resources, and close commitments.
• Proactively cultivate and expand relationships with existing and prospective investors.
• Partner with senior leadership to set fundraising priorities, refine product positioning, and create strategic investor coverage plans.
• Collaborate with Investments, Legal/Compliance, and Finance teams to align fundraising activities with firm objectives.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and marketing materials that clearly articulate Prime Finance’s capabilities and competitive advantages.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to investors, staying abreast of market trends, portfolio construction, and evolving institutional priorities.

Required profile

• Proven track record in institutional fundraising within private credit, structured credit, corporate credit, asset‑backed finance, or related alternative investment sectors.
• Extensive network of institutional investor relationships.
• Deep knowledge of fixed‑income and credit markets, with the ability to explain complex strategies to sophisticated audiences.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
