Direct Support Professional

About the role

Join ResCare Community Living, part of the Sevita family, as a Direct Support Professional. You will help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently by providing personalized, person‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and behavioral challenges.
• Support individuals in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage community involvement and participation in favorite activities.
• Provide transportation when needed, ensuring safe and reliable travel.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred).
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible attitude.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a registered vehicle, and proof of insurance.
