Direct Care Worker – Flexible 60‑Hour Schedule

About the role

Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers to support elderly, disabled, and individuals with intellectual disabilities. The position offers flexible part‑time or full‑time schedules, including a 60‑hour work option, and allows you to provide essential in‑home assistance while maintaining the dignity and respect of each participant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional care to participants, including assistance with illness, injury, or disability.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and arrange transportation as needed.
• Accompany clients to appointments and help with medication reminders.
• Prepare meals, shop for groceries, and support general living needs.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and encouragement to promote well‑being.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to complete a criminal background check.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 lb and performing physical tasks such as reaching, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
