Digital Video Producer I – Spanish

About the role
The Digital Video Producer I (Spanish) will create and edit trending video content for ESPN’s Spanish‑language digital platforms. Working closely with hosts, reporters, and global content teams, the producer will help expand reach and engagement across YouTube, the ESPN app, and social media.
Key responsibilities
- Become the subject‑matter expert on all ESPN digital platforms and use that knowledge to grow audience reach.
- Produce daily digital video shows and short‑form segments for YouTube and social channels, including live and on‑site productions.
- Create and distribute daily assignments, acting as the main point of contact for the Digital Video newsroom.
- Manage one or more direct reports, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Analyze usage and performance metrics to inform content improvements.
- Ensure production timelines are met and stay current with video‑production trends and technology.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of combined media experience with a focus on digital video.
- Deep knowledge of major soccer competitions (LaLiga, UEFA, UCL, etc.) and solid familiarity with MLB, NFL, and NBA.
- Excellent written Spanish and full bilingual proficiency (written and verbal).
- Strong understanding of social‑media trends, viral content characteristics, and optimal distribution tactics.
- Ability to work quickly, juggle multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Required skills
- Advanced non‑linear editing proficiency (Quantel, Final Cut, Avid, Premiere, After Effects).
- Experience producing digital video shows, including live and on‑site formats.
