Digital Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support Essential Credit Union’s digital marketing strategy by acting as the primary liaison with the external digital agency. Working under the Marketing Manager, you will help plan, execute and report on campaigns while ensuring brand consistency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and launching digital marketing campaigns for products, services and community initiatives.
• Coordinate paid digital advertising with external partners and monitor performance.
• Maintain and update online business listings such as Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect and Bing Places.
• Prepare monthly reports using website, email, social media and advertising analytics.
• Evaluate member‑facing digital experiences (online account opening, loan applications) and recommend usability and conversion improvements.
• Collaborate with the Digital Services team to enhance digital touchpoints while supporting marketing goals.
• Update website content and create landing pages using the CMS.
• Create, schedule and monitor email marketing campaigns.
• Develop social media content calendars and schedule posts.
• Produce basic graphics and video assets using Canva, Adobe Express or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Monitor online reviews and draft brand‑aligned responses.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes and member feedback.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating digital marketing activities and working with external agencies.
• Understanding of credit‑union or financial‑services marketing regulations (Member Identification, BSA, OFAC).
• Ability to analyse campaign data and produce clear performance reports.
• Strong attention to usability, accessibility and member engagement.
