Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee seeks a proactive Digital Content & Marketing Coordinator to support the Washington Immigrant Information Center. Working remotely under the Information and Referral Service Manager, you will ensure accurate, engaging client‑facing content across web and social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and publish written and multimedia content for the WA‑Immigrant.Info website, Facebook and Instagram.
• Define, implement, and monitor both paid and organic digital advertising campaigns.
• Track traffic, engagement metrics, and feedback using Zendesk and other analytics tools.
• Maintain content calendars in Monday.com and coordinate translations with external vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams, legal, and IT to resolve technical issues and improve communication strategy.

Required profile

• BA/BS or equivalent experience in multimedia journalism, digital communications, or related field.
• Minimum 2 + years of reporting, writing, editing, and digital content management.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑directed, and able to work independently with remote supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.

Required skills

• Graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• SEO best practices and experience with a content management system (CMS).
• Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and digital advertising tools.
• Zendesk, Monday.com, and translation‑management software.
