About the role

Join PwC's Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) team in Boston as a Summer 2028 intern. You will work alongside audit professionals, gaining hands‑on experience with digital assurance tools and methodologies that enhance transparency in financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in financial assessments and evaluations.
• Apply auditing methodologies to improve compliance and transparency.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing audit documentation and reports.
• Conduct basic research to support audit findings and recommendations.
• Apply cloud engineering principles to optimize audit processes and data management.
• Utilize artificial intelligence platforms to streamline audit procedures.
• Gather and analyze data to identify patterns that support audit conclusions.
• Collaborate with team members to implement compliance and governance protocols.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam or meet CISA licensure requirements before full‑time employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
