Digital Assurance & Transparency Internship – Summer 2027

About the role

The Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) internship in Cincinnati offers a summer 2027 opportunity to work within PwC’s Assurance practice. Interns will gain hands‑on experience with digital audit methodologies, supporting teams that enhance transparency, integrity and compliance in financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in executing digital assurance tasks and evaluating financial reporting processes.
• Conduct basic research, data analysis and support audit findings and recommendations.
• Apply cloud engineering principles to improve data management and audit workflows.
• Participate in the development and testing of artificial‑intelligence platforms for audit automation.
• Help assess compliance and governance frameworks and identify potential reporting risks.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MIS, Business Analytics, Computer/Information Science or IT.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam (or CISA licensure) in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically a third‑year student in a four‑year program or fourth‑year in a five‑year program.
