Digital Assurance & Transparency Intern – Summer 2028

About the role

Join PwC's Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) team in Charlotte as a Summer 2028 intern. You will work alongside experienced auditors, gaining hands‑on exposure to audit methodologies, compliance standards, and cloud‑enabled data management tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in assessing financial reporting and decision‑making processes.
• Assist in applying auditing methodologies to evaluate regulatory compliance.
• Observe and learn from senior auditors to understand transparency and integrity in financial assessments.
• Help deploy cloud engineering solutions that improve audit workflows and data handling.
• Conduct research and basic tasks that contribute to client support services.
• Gather and analyse audit data to identify patterns and insights.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science, or Information Technology.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment or meet CISA licensure educational requirements.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program at the time of application.
