Digital Assurance & Transparency Intern – Summer 2027

About the role

As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) intern you will join PwC’s Columbus team for the summer of 2027. The placement offers a hands‑on learning environment where you will support audit teams, explore emerging technologies and gain insight into PwC’s assurance methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in executing digital assurance tasks and applying audit methodologies.
• Conduct basic research and data gathering to support audit decisions.
• Participate in the development and testing of artificial‑intelligence platforms used for audit purposes.
• Apply cloud‑engineering principles to improve data management and audit processes.
• Help evaluate internal controls, governance frameworks and compliance challenges.
• Collaborate with team members, listen to feedback and contribute quality work.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer & Information Science or Information Technology.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment or meet CISA licensure requirements.
• Typically in the third or fourth year of a four‑year degree program.
