Diesel Mechanic

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics for its Farmington, MN Service Center. You will perform day‑to‑day maintenance on a fleet of Class 8 trucks, trailers, and related equipment, ensuring reliable operation and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor to major repairs on diesel engines.
• Service Class 8 trucks, trailers, forklifts, overhead doors, lift gates, and dollies.
• Diagnose and repair air‑conditioning and electrical systems.
• Utilize Cetaris for work order management.
• Conduct welding tasks as required by location.

Required profile

• 2+ years of diesel mechanic experience, preferably with Cummins and Detroit engines.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and possess personal tools.
• Class A CDL holder with experience driving Class 8 trucks.
• Experience in trailer preventative maintenance and repairs.
