Diesel Equipment Technology Instructor – Hall County Campus

About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking a full‑time Diesel Equipment Technology Instructor to teach at its Hall County campus and the Lanier Career and College Academy. The instructor will deliver accredited courses, develop curriculum, and support student success in diesel equipment maintenance and repair.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans and syllabi for diesel equipment technology courses.
• Assess student progress, maintain records, and prepare required documentation.
• Manage classroom supplies, equipment, and budget requests.
• Ensure safety and security standards in training areas.
• Participate in staff development, industry advisory meetings, and recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in Diesel Equipment Technology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of relevant experience in diesel equipment technology.
• Credentialed to meet accrediting body requirements for assigned courses.
