Diagnostic Radiology Technologist PRN – Main Hospital

About the role

The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist provides high‑quality radiographic images for medical interpretation in a fast‑paced hospital environment. This PRN position rotates through multiple modalities, including portable units, surgery, fluoroscopy, and the emergency department.

Key responsibilities

• Perform optimal X‑ray examinations and produce diagnostic images across various departments.
• Operate C‑arm and O‑arm equipment, lift 25 lb or more, and assist with patient positioning.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Answer phones, coordinate imaging requests, and support diagnostic imaging coverage.

Required profile

• Associate degree from an approved Radiology program.
• Registered or eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• State of Arkansas license in Radiology Technology.
• At least one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or related field.

Required skills

• Radiography and X‑ray imaging techniques.
• C‑arm and O‑arm operation.
• Patient positioning and safety protocols.
