DevOps Engineer T2 – Hybrid (Austin, TX)

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer T2 to join our hybrid team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines for a 12‑month contract‑to‑hire engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for infrastructure automation.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot Terraform modules and deployments.
• Automate manual provisioning and deployment processes.
• Design, implement, and support GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Onboard new cloud customers and set up their environments.
• Deploy and manage Docker and Kubernetes workloads.
• Administer Linux systems and create technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Support monitoring, logging, and overall cloud operations, leveraging AI tools where appropriate.

Required profile

• 2‑4+ years of DevOps or cloud infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Ansible development.
• Proven experience with Terraform and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Strong Linux administration and Bash or Python scripting skills.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
