DevOps Engineer – Security Engineering

About the role

DRW is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its Security Engineering team. In this hands‑on position you will design, build and operate secure, scalable infrastructure that supports the firm’s trading and technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps workflows.
• Develop tooling for data pipelines and integrate security scanners such as DAST and SAST into development pipelines.
• Support and harden container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) and manage secrets with HashiCorp Vault.
• Improve observability, monitoring and alerting for security and infrastructure services.
• Automate operational and security processes to reduce manual effort and risk.
• Assist in incident response and remediation for infrastructure‑related security events.
• Continuously evaluate system reliability, scalability and security posture.

Required profile

• Strong programming or scripting ability.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD systems.
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers across multiple environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Knowledge of security best practices including secrets management, least‑privilege access and vulnerability management.
