DevOps Engineer

About the role

Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team in Dallas. The role bridges software engineering and IT, focusing on reliable, secure, and scalable deployment of cloud‑based solutions. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to automate and improve the software delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for new and existing applications using Azure DevOps.
• Manage build, release, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
• Conduct security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability remediation.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues.
• Document activities through ticketing and change‑management systems.
• Support infrastructure and technology projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer or SRE, or 5+ years software engineering with DevOps responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers in production.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Scripting with Bash and PowerShell.
• Windows Server and Linux administration.
• AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) and containerization (Docker).
• .NET applications and modern web technologies.
