DevOps Engineer III – CI/CD Release Automation

About the role

Join a leading financial technology team as a DevOps Engineer III, focusing on CI/CD and release automation for Payments platforms. You will work within an agile environment to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable delivery pipelines that support critical business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot CI/CD solutions, emphasizing automation for Payments platforms.
• Create and maintain production‑grade code, Jenkins pipelines (Groovy/Jenkinsfiles/shared libraries) and shell scripts for build, test, and deployment.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts, ensuring pipeline patterns, deployment strategies, and environment promotion meet design constraints.
• Gather, analyze, and visualize CI/CD telemetry (build times, failure rates, deployment success, rollback frequency) to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify hidden problems, reduce pipeline flakiness, improve reliability, and standardize reusable automation.
• Contribute to DevOps communities of practice and explore emerging technologies, including cloud‑native delivery and secure SDLC practices.
• Leverage enterprise‑authorized AI coding‑assist tools to enhance code quality, speed, and productivity, while validating outputs through peer review and automated testing.
• Support operational stability of delivery tooling (Jenkins, Spinnaker), handle incident triage, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cybersecurity and engineering teams to embed controls such as secrets handling into pipelines.
