DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & CI/CD

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, scale, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance for core production services. You will work closely with software development teams to transition applications to containerized micro‑services and continuously improve platform reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and provision scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform, maintaining immutable IaC configurations.
• Manage and optimise multi‑cluster Kubernetes (and ECS) environments, ensuring efficient resource utilisation, service discovery and security compliance.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins for rapid, safe application deployments.
• Implement end‑to‑end monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack.
• Partner with backend teams to architect fault‑tolerant systems, run chaos‑engineering drills and define SLOs/SLAs.
• Participate in a shared on‑call rotation and lead post‑mortem reviews to drive systemic improvements.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or systems engineering supporting production environments at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS) and cloud security best practices.
